Overlay & Guides

This panel provides compositional aids and viewport display settings to support precise framing and cinematic composition:

• Show Name – Displays the name of the active camera in the viewport

• Passepartout – Darkens the area outside the camera frame. Adjustable alpha controls the darkness level

• Guides – Toggle visual composition guides directly in the camera view:

  • Thirds – Rule of thirds grid

  • Center – Simple vertical/horizontal center lines

  • Diagonal – Diagonal cross for balance and perspective

  • Golden – Golden ratio grid

  • Golden Tri A/B – Golden triangle composition guides

  • Harmony Tri A/B – Harmony triangle guides for advanced framing

These overlays are non-rendering helpers designed to assist visual storytelling and camera layout.
