🔧 Installation & Setup

📝 Requirements

  • Blender 4.2 or higher

  • Works on Windows, macOS, and Linux

📦 Installation Methods

🔌 Method 1: Standard Add-on Installation

  1. Download the PCam .zip file

  2. Open Blender → Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install..

  3. Select the .zip file and click Install Add-on

  4. Activate the checkbox next to “PCam” (Category: PTools)

🖱 Method 2: Drag & Drop

  1. Open Blender and go to the 3D Viewport

  2. Simply drag the pcam.zip file into the Blender window

  3. Blender will prompt you to install the add-on – confirm the dialog

  4. Enable PCam in the Add-ons list if not already active

🚀 First-Time Setup

Once installed:

  1. Press N to open the Sidebar

  2. Switch to the “PTools ▶” tab

  3. Click the “+” Add Rig button to add your first PCam camera

  4. Use the dropdown to select Camera

  5. Access controls
